The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will close the Stephen Drive bridge (S-22-525) over Browns Branch for repairs in Georgetown County beginning Thursday, Oct. 29, according to an SCDOT press release published Oct. 28, 2026.

The release does not say how long the closure will last or what detours are recommended.
