How we report
Official sources first
We start from documents: agendas, minutes, permits, notices, court calendars and data published by public agencies. Every fact in an article comes with a link to its source, listed at the end of the article.
We say what we do not know
When a document leaves something out, such as an end date or a cost, the article says so instead of guessing.
Stories, not isolated posts
Each article belongs to a story page that collects every update on the same topic, newest first, so readers can see how a story developed.
People
We do not name private individuals who have not been convicted of a crime.
Respect for websites
Our tools follow each website’s robots.txt rules and do not get around access restrictions.
